Congratulations to our Mighty Scrapper Band. They competed in the Regional Marching Assessment. They scored a 1-Superior rating in all areas. It has been four years that we scored this high! Good Luck at State on November 4!!!
Congratulations to Rylee Backus and Addison Tate on winning the 4A State Doubles Championship. Our girl's tennis team finished State Runner-up in the team division. Maddie McRae was named the 7-4A Coach of the Year. Great job Rylee, Addison, Coach McRae!, and entire tennis team!

I have been asked about the police being at Elementary. They are handling a situation at a resident close to the school. No situation has occurred at the school.

Another Great Week! I have loved the start of school...attitudes have been great! Hope to see you tonight at the Back to School Bash! Come celebrate the start of school. Our students and staff work so hard!

Electricity is back on. School will continue as normal.
High School and Elementary are currently out of electricity. All students are supervised and safe. Hopefully, we will know a timeframe on getting electricity back on in the next few minutes. We will make a decision when we learn the details.
Electricity is back on. ACT school will start at regular time in your assigned room.
ACT school will meet in the high school cafeteria at 8:30 am.
Football practice for 3-12 grade students has been cancelled this morning due to no electricity at the field house/ weight room, and indoor.
We will announce about ACT school closer to starting time.
Tomorrow is the last official day of school. Buses will run and breakfast and lunch will be served. Anyone with outstanding assignments or makeup work is strongly encouraged to take care of tomorrow. Be sure your chrome book and charger are turned in to your school. School will dismiss at 12 noon.
Buses may have to run modified routes today and tomorrow. Drivers have been instructed not to go through any high water.
Please take your time as you come to school. Safety first!

Update - student was sent to children's hospital. All scans and test came back good. Doctor just informed family that they can go home tonight! Praise!
FYI-- We had a fourth grade student that was hit by a vehicle crossing the road in front of elementary. The student was transported by ambulance to our local hospital. Test and further examinations are occurring at this time. The student was conscious and speaking when he left in the ambulance.
I am very Proud! So many of our students are excelling with their activities in the past few days. I'm looking forward to the academic awards on each campus. Big shout out to our students on the Trap teams, fishing teams, soccer teams, baseball/softball teams and our band students. Job well done! Go Scrap!
